OUR STORY

As our children began to grow and the world closed in, we began to take stock of what life was all about. After many conversations, we agreed that it all simply came down to faith in God and love of family.

Having visited Germany, we fell in love with the small magical towns that dot the German countryside. We wanted to create our own slice of the world that would bring us the same sense of peacefulness and stillness that Germany provided.

We chose to name our slice of happiness, Hinterland Ranch. Hinterland is a German word that translates to ”the land behind.” Our ranch takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the day to day, off the highways consumed by the concrete world, and leads to you to a land hidden behind, where you can hang your hat and rest.
